About me

Alireza Safargholi - Business manager and entrepreneur

Graduating as the top-ranked student from the University of Tehran, I have accumulated nearly 17 years of experience across diverse industries, including cellulose, hygiene, food, textiles, chemicals, polymers and plastics, real estate and construction, livestock, poultry, aquaculture, and their complementary sectors. I have further enriched this experience with approximately 14 years of teaching business strategy, marketing management, and entrepreneurship at universities and educational institutions, along with a strong research background published in leading international business and management journals. This unique blend of practical expertise and academic research has shaped me into a well-rounded and seasoned professional, a state that I take great pride in.

Currently, I am working as a manager and consultant for several companies. My primary interests in these roles involve strategy and development, AI in marketing, and entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, I have remained active in academia through research and teaching. My main research interests include strategy, international business, internationalization, international marketing, AI in business and management, entrepreneurship, firm image and reputation, business ethics, social responsibility, and environmental issues such as pollution and its effects on businesses.

My most recent academic recognition is the Best Reviewer Award in 2023, given for my significant contribution to numerous scientific manuscripts submitted from around the world to the International Journal of Consumer Studies (IF2023 = 8.6).
